Service and Parts Department
Porter, Detailer, Lot Attendant-Â Â Clean and detail vehicles
-Â Â Inspect each finished product
-Â Â Clean areas of the dealership as needed
-Â Â Help maintain the lot
-Â Â Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
-Â Â Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
-Â Â Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
Parts Rep
-Â Â Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
-Â Â Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
-Â Â Complete special order part request for the customer
-Â Â Communicate with customer on parts status
Service BDC Rep
-Â Â Calls customers to schedule appointments for routine maintenance, warranty concerns, recalls, and declined maintenance.
Service Advisor
-Â Â Obtain customer and vehicle information
-Â Â Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
-Â Â Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
Service Manager/Service Director
-Â Â Maintain a service customer follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
-Â Â Hire and supervise all service department personnel, as well as monitor their performance in servicing customers
-Â Â Create goals and objectives for the department, which include an annual operating budget, and a marketing plan to promote new business.
-Â Â Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately
Parts Manager
-Â Â Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department
-Â Â Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
-Â Â Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments
-Â Â Create pricing guidelines for customer categories
Body Shop Manager
- Manage customer expectations
- Ability to manage others
- Ensure work is performed efficiently and accurately
- Participate in all required training programs, certifications, school courses and events
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and accurately
- Respond to safety concerns immediately
- Perform as a mentor to body shop employeesÂ
- Strong writing and communication skills;
- Experience with CCC One Estimating System;
- Three+ years experience in the automotive industry (specifically in service and repairs);
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume;
